The Croydon BID team are a dedicated group of individuals committed to delivering a wide range of projects and initiatives that make Croydon a better place to live, work, and visit.
Our Board of Directors and Observers is made up of representatives from a range of local businesses, who play a key role in shaping the direction of Croydon BID. Meet the Chair of Croydon BID

Croydon Business Improvement District (BID) is pleased to welcome Joanne Bailey, Centre Manager of Centrale Shopping Centre and Whitgift Shopping Centre, as the Chair of the Board of Directors.

Jo is a respected business leader with a strong progressive career in estates and retail management. Having grown up and dedicated much of her working career to date to Croydon, Jo is passionate about the future and the success of the town centre.

Working side by side with the Board of Directors, my role is to determine the strategic direction of Croydon BID. My objective is to engage with all levy payers, partners and stakeholders to ensure value is added. Focusing on the five principles we have determined as part of our term, I will work with my team to deliver positive results for Croydon Town Centre.

My focus is on leading, developing and delivering on key operational aspects of the Croydon BID delivery plan. My role concentrates on improving the safety and security and look and feel of the town centre through our many services and initiatives. To bring vibrancy and energy to Croydon town centre, I deliver a programme of events aimed at attracting those that live, work and visit Croydon.

I lead on all business engagement activities for Croydon BID, developing the projects and initiatives aimed at keeping you up to date and informed on our activities and changes to your town centre.

As Marketing & Communications Manager at Croydon BID, I am the driving force behind the development and execution of our marketing strategy. I am responsible for creating impactful campaigns that increase reach and support our levy payers, highlighting the vibrant offerings of Croydon town centre. From conceptualization to execution, I oversee event collateral production, promote BID services, create engaging digital content, and manage press enquiries to ensure a cohesive message that resonates with our target audience and contributes to the success of our business community.

Sinead Johnston

I provide the day-to-day office management and administration, working with all members of the Croydon BID team to make sure they are supported if and when they need it. For many, I am the first point of contact for those contacting Croydon BID and will assist with all enquiries from people that live work or visit Croydon town centre. Working with the Chief Executive, I provide day-to-day financial administrative support. As the Office Administrator, my day is full and varied in supporting the needs of our members and the business.

Working directly with the Marketing & Communications Manager, I contribute to the effective development, creation and delivery of our digital marketing efforts. Working with the team, I am passionate about optimising our channels for the benefit of our business members and Croydon town centre. I am currently studying Digital Marketing BSc (Hons) at London South Bank University, gaining valuable experience through my role as an apprentice with Croydon BID.
