What we do

We love Croydon!

A bustling, cosmopolitan, retail and commercial centre, Croydon is home to hundreds of well-known businesses in the retail, office, leisure, hospitality and public sectors and is a vibrant place to be.

With £5.2 billion worth of private and public sector investment earmarked for the town centre over the next five years, Croydon is also set to be transformed on a scale not seen since the 1960s.

With so much change taking place and in the pipeline, one thing remains constant: Croydon BID's determination to continue making a difference to the mutual advantage of the businesses operating here so that our town increasingly is regarded as one of the premier destinations in south London in which to work, live, invest and do business.

Working under the direction of the town centre business community and in partnership with Croydon Council, the Croydon Metropolitan Police and other key agencies, our efforts are focused on:

We also represent the interests of around 570 local businesses on town centre issues and development plans, at both a strategic and operational and level.

In 2017, town centre businesses voted overwhelmingly in favour of Croydon BID continuing for a further five year term. See our 2017 - 2022 Renewal Proposal for more information.
