A look at the latest shops and upcoming openings at Allders Parade

Allders Parade has introduced a range of new stores and will soon welcome dining options to Croydon town centre. Here’s a look at the shops already open and everything you need to know about the upcoming openings later this month.

Since opening in late September, Allders Parade has introduced a variety of retail options to the historic Allders building in Croydon town centre.

The first stores to open on 26th September were MINISO, a global lifestyle store offering toys, tech, stationery, homeware, and more, and Sky, a national digital media provider.

Earlier this summer, URW ran its Retail Skills Academy in Croydon, a three-day programme providing accredited customer service training, employability support, and real interview experience. In July 2025, 12 local residents completed the programme, with five securing roles at MINISO.

On 10th October, Abaci, a women’s clothing brand, and Isle of Flowers, a London-based florist, joined the precinct, further expanding the shopping options for visitors.

Looking ahead, Coco and Nut, a popular independent café, and Meltin’ Moments, an ice cream shop that was part of the original Allders department store, are set to open on 31st October.

Coco and Nut will open from 8am, and to celebrate its launch will offer:

  • Free coffee and pastry for the first 100 customers
  • Halloween goody bags for the first 50 visitors
  • 50% off all food items all weekend

Allders Parade represents an important step in the ongoing transformation of Croydon town centre, complementing the redevelopment of Whitgift Centre and Centrale, while breathing new life into the historic Allders building.
