The competition, running from Monday 4 August to Sunday 31 August, offers one lucky winner the chance to receive four tickets to the glittering pantomime Beauty and the Beast, showing at Fairfield Halls on Friday 19 December at 2pm.
Organised in celebration of the upcoming Christmas production, the trail invites families to discover four themed posters hidden across Croydon — each linked to a beloved character from the story.
Participants must follow poetic clues to find the locations, photograph the posters, and upload the images via the official Fairfield Halls website to be entered into the prize draw.
Each poster features a character from the classic tale – Belle, the Beast, Louis the Lumière-style character, and Polly the Dame. Their locations are teased through playful rhymes and geographic hints using the what3words navigation system.
How to enter
To take part, families must:
- Find all four posters between 4–31 August
- Take a photo of each one
- Upload all four images at fairfield.co.uk/beauty-and-the-beast-trail
All valid entries will be entered into the prize draw. The winner will be announced on Friday 5 September.
