Conflict Management Workshop

Ideal for anyone working in customer-facing roles across sectors, this workshop covers the fundamentals of conflict theory and de-escalation techniques. It aims to build staff confidence, enhance communication skills, and reduce the risk of workplace violence.

JFJ Foundation Bleed Control Training

We’re pleased to announce that JFJ Foundations’ Youth Team will be delivering Bleed Control Training as part of their ongoing commitment to community safety and emergency preparedness. All members of their youth team hold Enhanced DBS checks and are First Aid trained.

These vital, hands-on sessions will teach participants how to use bleed control kits effectively in an emergency and how to create makeshift tourniquets if needed. The training is designed to equip individuals with basic but essential lifesaving skills, empowering them to act with confidence in critical moments where every second counts.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to recognise and respond to life-threatening bleeding
  • Proper use of bleed control kits, including tourniquets and wound dressings
  • Basic first aid techniques for severe injuries
  • The importance of quick action in trauma situations

Shoplifting, the Law and Crime Prevention

Emergency First Aid At Work (Level 3)

This accredited one-day course provides essential first aid training for low-risk workplaces and general life-saving scenarios. Open to beginners and experienced first aiders alike, participants will gain the skills and confidence to respond to a range of incidents.

Course includes:

  • The role of the first aider
    Assessing incidents and managing unresponsive casualties
  • CPR, recovery position and defibrillator (AED) use
  • Responding to choking, seizures, shock, and bleeding
  • Treating minor injuries, burns, and scalds

Certification valid for three years upon successful completion.

Women's safety

Women’s Personal Safety Class

Agent: Good Sense Training
Date: Wednesday 19th November 2025

This women-only self-defence workshop provides a safe, supportive environment to learn practical techniques tailored to real-life scenarios. The session begins with a discussion on personal safety principles, covering legal rights, reasonable force, and awareness strategies. It then moves into hands-on training, teaching leverage-based techniques to handle common threats in public and while commuting.

Participants will:

  • Understand the law on self-defence and reasonable force
  • Learn the concept of a pre-emptive strike
  • Apply five key personal safety principles
  • Develop stronger situational awareness
  • Practise realistic responses to high-risk scenarios

Please note:

  • This workshop is open to women only
  • Participants should be physically able to take part
  • Pregnant individuals may attend and observe but should not take part in physical exercises

Town Centre Safety Briefing

Delivered by Croydon BID and the Croydon MPS Town Centre Inspector, this session provides businesses with an overview of safety issues affecting the town centre.

It covers key topics such as youth violence, anti-social behaviour, knife crime, and issues linked to rough sleeping and street drinking.

Designed for groups of 12–50 employees, the session includes a safety briefing followed by an open discussion tailored to submitted questions and concerns. Ideal for inclusion in staff engagement or lunchtime training sessions.
