What is the CBCP?
The Croydon Business Crime Reduction Partnership (CBCP) is a collaborative network aimed at reducing business-related crime across Croydon town centre. It brings together local businesses, the Metropolitan Police, British Transport Police, Croydon Council, and other key agencies to tackle crime and improve safety.
Who are its members?
CBCP has 188 members, including security guards, store managers, facility managers, and other roles from industries such as retail, banking, hospitality, and commercial businesses.
What does the CBCP do?
The CBCP facilitates intelligence sharing and reporting of incidents—often those not reported to the police. This helps build a clearer picture of crime patterns and prolific offenders in the area. The partnership aims to reduce crime and help businesses prepare for potential threats.
