Croydon BID members can join the Radio Link scheme at a subsided rate of £150 + VAT per radio unit, a figure that has remained in place since the launch of the scheme in April 2023. Non-levy businesses can also join at a competitive rate of £350 + VAT per unit.
The Croydon BID Radio Link provides an excellent opportunity for strengthening our collaboration with businesses in the town centre. Officers monitor the radio and receive live updates, responding to incidents as they are happening. We also run proactive operations in Croydon Town Centre alongside the BID Rangers, communicating directly over the radio. The scheme is invaluable to providing an enhanced service to businesses, improving our intelligence-picture, and bringing offenders to justice.
