- The team responded to 140 incidents requiring direct business support, including theft, conflict resolution, and safeguarding issues.
- Their efforts contributed to the recovery of £6,700 in stolen goods, directly supporting local retailers and reducing losses.
- Street Rangers supported 15 arrests, working closely with Croydon’s Town Centre Metropolitan Police Team and contributing to safer outcomes during live incidents.
Other Highlights:
- Partnership Working: Q4 saw an increase in joint patrols and operations alongside Croydon Council’s ASB team and the Town Centre Metropolitan Police Team, strengthening the coordinated response to persistent challenges.
- First Aid & Emergency Response: The team assisted in a range of first aid incidents, including suspected overdoses and injuries from fights, ensuring emergency services were quickly alerted and supported on scene.
- Knife & Drug Recovery: During targeted sweeps and while responding to reports, the team helped remove dangerous items from the streets.
- Upskilling: The team have undergone advanced first-aid training to enhance their emergency response capabilities, preparing them for high-pressure situations.
