Croydonites Fringe 2024: Applications now open for performers and creators

Move over Edinburgh because Croydon is launching its first-ever Croydonites Fringe this autumn.
Sponsored by Croydon Business Improvement District (BID) and supported by Croydon Council and Arts Council England, this exciting new festival will run from Thursday 31 October to Sunday 3 November 2024 across various central Croydon venues.

The Croydonites Fringe promises to bring the town centre to life with a vibrant mix of theatre, performance, comedy, and dance. This inaugural event will feature a host of talented artists and performers, including:

  • Darkfield: Direct from the London Film Festival with their latest immersive experience ‘Arcade’.
  • Parabolic Theatre: The acclaimed local theatre company known for their innovative performances.
  • Arnauld Pirault: The renowned French choreographer presenting ‘We Can Be Heroes’ with a cast of Croydon locals.

Applications to participate in the Croydonites Fringe are now open. Aspiring performers and creators are encouraged to apply by 25 August 2024 via this link.

Following the Croydonites Fringe, the annual Croydonites Festival will take place from 6-16 November 2024, offering even more opportunities to engage with the arts.
