Croydon’s Fairfield Halls to host spectacular festive season of music, dance, and theatre

Sleigh bells are ringing and the theatre is calling!

This year, audiences are invited to get into the festive spirit at Fairfield Halls with a spectacular line-up of seasonal entertainment that’s sure to dazzle and delight.

Kicking off the season is the Imperial Classical Ballet’s® dazzling production of The Nutcracker (Wednesday 19 November). This timeless Christmas tradition comes to life in a lavish production featuring a large live orchestra. With snow flurries, sparkling sweets, magical princes and the warmth of holiday romance, The Nutcracker captures the true spirit of the season.

Rhythm of the Dance (Friday 21 November) celebrates over 25 years of bringing audiences to their feet with a unique Christmas production. Let the magic of Christmas begin with all your favourite festive songs performed live by world-class musicians, star vocalists and world-champion dancers.

Direct from duties at Buckingham Palace, The Musicians of The Household Division return to the Fairfield Halls with their spectacular Christmas concert, Scarlet and Gold (Friday 12 December). Hosted by special guest James Cosmo and supported by international singer-songwriter Matt Goss, this performance features over 100 of the world’s finest military musicians. This is a glittering winter concert that evokes the ceremonial splendor and sparkle of the Guards’ scarlet uniforms and finely polished instruments.

Step Into Christmas (Monday 15 December) with the most magical show of the year. This Christmas feel-good show brings the magic of the season to life, with all the Christmas songs you know and love. Full of festive cheer, this one is not to be missed.

Last but not least, step into panto land with Fairfield Halls’ festive extravaganza, Beauty and the Beast (Friday 12 December 2025 – Sunday 4 January 2026). Set to be Croydon’s most enchanting panto yet, Ellie Dadd (EastEnders), Croydon local and panto powerhouse, Jamie Steen, and panto favourite, Charlie Guest, star to add a touch of sparkle to this fantastic production.

Joining them is West End leading lady Sorelle Marsh, who will sprinkle star power and sparkle as the glittering Fairy Bon Bon. Will Haswell brings charm, wit and a twinkle in his eye as the loveable Hugo Pompidou, sure to keep audiences laughing with his smooth humour and playful antics. Rising star Samuel John Taylor adds romance, heart and fairytale wonder as the dashing Prince, ready to sweep audiences into a world of enchantment.

Fairfield Halls is operated by registered charity and social enterprise BH Live, in partnership with Croydon Council.
