Things to Do in Croydon This Easter: Family Activities & Events
Easter’s nearly here, and Croydon town centre is full of things to do over the break.
The town centre has its usual (and much-loved) family-friendly spots, plus a few surprises this spring, so whether you’re local or just visiting, it’s a good excuse to explore and enjoy a bit of Easter fun together.
Here’s what’s happening:
Spring into Croydon at Centrale & Whitgift
3rd –4th & 6th–10th April | Free
Step into spring with an immersive celebration of Croydon’s biodiversity at Centrale & Whitgift.
At the heart of it all is the Giant Leaf at The Whitgift (opposite River Island), a playful installation where families can drop in for hands‑on workshops and meet special characters like Gordon Rams‑Bee, Ladle Bug and Paul Holly‑Worm, each bringing storytelling and humour to deliver an important environmental message.
You can also wander through the free seed trail, collecting herbs and pollinator‑friendly flowers from participating stores as you go, helping you contribute to biodiversity long after the experience ends.
