Kids Play Free at PLAYBOX Croydon
Two kids play free* with one paying adult at PLAYBOX Croydon from 24th May to 1st June. Rack up the points on sleek digital shuffleboards, hit bullseye like a pro interactive darts, and sing your heart out in the interactive karaoke booths!

Saturday Storytime at Waterstones
Join Waterstones Croydon at 10am on Saturday 24th May, who will be reading Don’t Trust Fish by Niel Shapron and Dan Santat. Plus, get creative with colouring-in fun available all day long. Suitable for under 8s but siblings are also welcome.
No booking is required.
Toy Performances at Pollock’s Toy Museum
Join Pollock’s Toy Museum in the Whitgift Centre on Saturday 24th May for a toy theatre performance of Jack the Giant Killer! The museum frequently brings new toys into their display to explore, joining collections exclusive to Croydon, such as from New Addington factory, A Barton. A variety of board games are available to play on weeks without performances.
No booking is required. Performances take place at 12 noon and 12pm.
Kid Friendly Activities at The Ludoquist
Join The Ludoquist for two exciting learn to play sessions this May half-term:
- Tuesday 27th May at 12-4pm – Star Wars Unlimited – Tickets cost £10
- Wednesday 28th May 12-3pm – Lorcana – Tickets cost £15 (also includes a grilled cheese sandwich and a soft drink)
Decks will be available to borrow on the day and the café’s friendly team will be on hand to guide you through the game. Parents and guardians must stay in the café for the duration of the event, or are welcome to buy their own ticket and join in.
Create your very own Fantastical Hat with Turf Projects on Thursday 29th May. Inspired by Eileen Agar’s Ceremonial Hat for Eating Bouillabaisse, let your creativity run wild as you decorate your hat with sculptures of your favourite things, while learning basic sculpture techniques.
The event runs from 2 to 4pm and tickets are free.
