Mother Hubbard’s brings classic fish & chips to Croydon

Fish and Chip shop Mother Hubbard’s has opened its doors on George Street marking a tasty new addition to Croydon.
Opening on Saturday 3rd May, the shop welcomed their first customers with a special 50% off discount.

With a first location opening 1972, Mother Hubbard’s now boasts over 50 stores across the UK, all complete with a modern feel whilst maintaining that cherished traditional taste.

The Croydon branch serves up the chain’s signature Icelandic haddock and British potatoes, fried until crispy and golden. Classic Fish and Chips are available from £10.95, with portions going up to the Super Jumbo Fish & Chips for £19.95.

The menu also offers fresh favourites to enjoy, including the Fiery Fish Wrap (£7.45), Spicy Fish (£9.75) and a variety of pies and pastries starting from £4.45, featuring the Hearty Steak Pie and the Peri Peri Pasty.

Adding a local touch, the walls of the store are lined with historic photos showcasing North End, Surrey Street, Wandle Park, and more.
