Floor stencils and social distancing stickers go down a treat

Safer Streets
For the last two weeks of June, Croydon BID has been supporting businesses on a number of issues to prepare adequately as non-essential retail in the town centre opened their doors on 15th June 2020. One such challenge has been providing guidance and practical solutions to queue management.
Croydon BID has designed and produced high quality, custom made vinyl floor stickers, brightly branded with a rainbow in Check Out Croydon colours to be used internally by businesses. To assist external queue management, our team have produced and delivered a number of spray painted ‘Keep your distance’ social distance markers, with over 35 businesses already supported.
As part of Croydon BIDs efforts to provide continued support, a new Covid-19 Hub can be found at, which provides support and advice to help businesses, including guidance on how to manage your queues effectively.
Matthew Sims, Chief Executive, Croydon BID said: “Social distancing will continue to be part of our lives for some time and therefore we have to adapt our environment to not only support the guidance but to make sure our businesses and customers remain safe to freely move about the town centre.
“Croydon BID is delivering a host of practical, visible support measures such as queue management, working hand in hand with our members at what is a challenging time for all.”
