South London’s biggest free business Expo set to attract 1,000 visitors

South London’s biggest business to business expo – We Mean Business 2018 – returns to Croydon on Wednesday, 17th October.

Offering exceptional opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors, the one-day Expo in London’s leading start-up and tech hotspot, will feature over 50 exhibitors and attract over 1,000 visitors.

There will be free seminars as well as workshops offering business support, advice and insightful case studies from leading industry experts for all levels and types of enterprise, from start-ups to high growth firms.

As a unique chance for firms to showcase their companies, network and do business, stands are already booking out fast, with many exhibitors returning after success at the event in previous years.

Annabel Fogden, Head of Croydon Chamber of Commerce Branch Team, said: “We Mean Business is an important event in Croydon Chamber’s diary - exhibiting provides us with a much-valued opportunity to meet new businesses and showcase the Chamber. There’s always plenty of people to meet whether exhibiting or visiting.”

Feyley Barnham, Business Development Executive, at StartUp Croydon, added: “The We Mean Business Expo is the main annual business event for the borough.

“We believe that it is important to be there, flying the flag for Croydon and coming together as a community. It always works very well for StartUp Croydon because it gives us the opportunity to talk to a wide variety of local businesses, many of which are in their infancy or at the start up stage.”

The Expo is being held from 9.30am to 4pm at the Croydon Park Hotel, close to East Croydon Station and 15-minute trains to Central London and Gatwick Airport.

Entrance to the expo is free for visitors. Reserve your place now to enter a prize draw and the chance to win a £50 voucher for dinner at a leading local restaurant.
