TFL launches new APP to help people move around London

TfL Go can help you to plan your journeys and follow the safer travel guidance.
For every station they're sharing real-time train times, plus peak travel times for the busiest stations, to help you travel during quieter times
TfL Go is now available to download for Apple devices. The app is not the final version, but it will have useful features to help you plan your journeys. 
An Android version of TfL Go will be released in the coming months, and it’ll continue sharing data with other travel apps that you might already use.
As well as the fastest public transport routes, we’re offering alternative routes to give you more travel options
We’re providing walking and cycling routes to consider for all or part of your journey
You can also see the latest service status for all Tube, Tram, London Overground and TfL Rail lines. Real time bus arrivals will be added later
With step free mode you can customise the map to show step free access to train and platform, and plan journeys accordingly. We’ll soon introduce new information on toilet availability, platform access and lift status

As many of you return to travelling on public transport, please note that since April we have been using an anti-viral fluid, similar to that used in hospitals, to clean customer areas on the Tube, and have enhanced cleaning methods on buses including touch points like poles and doors.The fluid kills viruses and bacteria on application and retains effectiveness at killing any viruses it contacts for up to 30 days thereafter. 
We are also reminding everyone to wear a face covering, wash hands before and after travel, and travel when possible during quieter times. During the week the busiest times are between 05:45 and 08:15, and 16:00 and 17:30. 
As you start to return to the workplace, if you can walk or cycle as part of your journey or get off a stop or two earlier to make space for those who have no alternative way to travel, we would encourage you to do so.
