Turtle Bay Croydon is back!

Perception and Image
Turtle Bay’s restaurant on Croydon High Street is getting ready to welcome guests back from next month.

The Island-inspired restaurant, which has been closed during the coronavirus pandemic, is currently being completely refurbished ready to welcome back customers for good times this winter, with customers being able to expect new furniture, illuminated artwork, vibrant colours, and natural materials.

Matthew Sims, Chief Executive of Croydon BID, said: “It’s great to see a popular venue returning to Croydon following the pandemic. This will surely come as welcome news to lots of people who enjoy Caribbean food, and those looking for a fun evening with friends and family in Croydon town centre.”

Turtle Bay’s menu is sure to bring warmth and good vibes to the colder months, and rum, reggae and jerk will most definitely be back on the menu. The all-day menu will feature an impressive selection of Caribbean flavours, including breakfast served from 10am and their famous Bottomless Brunch from £29.50 per person.

There’s also some brand-new cocktails to try, and rum connoisseurs won’t be disappointed, with Turtle Bay’s huge collection showcased throughout the new menu, creating a wealth of ways to enjoy the Bay’s trademark spirit - from white to dark, coconut to spiced. After shaking up a storm behind the bar, the team have revealed some fruity new twists on favourites including a Pineapple Daiquiri (with Jamaica Cove Pineapple Rum & triple sec, fresh lime & pineapple); the Coconut and Grapefruit Mojito (with Koko Kanu & white rum, fresh coconut, mint, lime & grapefruit); and the Spiced Julep, (with Duppy Share Spiced Rum & tequila, fresh lime, mint, apple & ginger beer).

A summer favourite given the tropical treatment for winter is the new Grapefruit Fizz - a mix of Aperol, passionfruit, grapefruit & prosecco.

All of these and the Turtle Bay classics are included in the famed Happy Hour - where all of the restaurant’s tropical cocktails are available as 241 from 10am - 7pm daily, and again from 9:30pm during the week and 10pm at weekends right up until close.

And while bookings aren’t open just yet, if you sign up to Turtle Bay Croydon’s mailing list you’ll automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a table at the VIP opening for you and your friends next month.
