The Croydon BID team are a dedicated group of individuals committed to delivering a wide range of projects and initiatives that make Croydon a better place to live, work, and visit.

Our Board of Directors and Observers is made up of representatives from a range of local businesses, who play a key role in shaping the direction of Croydon BID. Meet the Chair of Croydon BID

Croydon Business Improvement District (BID) is pleased to welcome Joanne Bailey, Centre Manager of Centrale Shopping Centre and Whitgift Shopping Centre, as the Chair of the Board of Directors.

Jo is a respected business leader with a strong progressive career in estates and retail management. Having grown up and dedicated much of her working career to date to Croydon, Jo is passionate about the future and the success of the town centre.

Matthew leads Croydon BID alongside the Board of Directors, setting strategic direction and ensuring value for all levy payers, partners, and stakeholders. His focus is on delivering positive outcomes for Croydon town centre through the BID’s core principles.

Shaun Webster

Director of Operations

Shaun oversees key operational aspects of Croydon BID’s delivery plan, enhancing the safety, security, and overall aesthetics of the town centre. He also drives a vibrant events programme to attract residents, workers, and visitors to Croydon.

Keely Dench

Business Engagement & Place Manager

Keely leads business engagement for Croydon BID, fostering strong, valuable relationships with levy payers. She develops projects and initiatives to keep businesses informed and involved in the ongoing developments within the town centre.

Kayleigh Paget

Marketing & Communications Manager

Kayleigh drives the marketing and communications strategy for Croydon BID. Through both B2B and B2C channels, she supports all BID projects, events, and services, and promotes the business community through positive place marketing that highlights the vibrant offerings of Croydon town centre.

Sinead Johnston

Office Administrator

Sinead manages daily office operations and provides administrative support across the Croydon BID team. As the first point of contact for enquiries, she assists residents, workers, and visitors. Sinead also supports the Chief Executive with financial administration.

Liam Magee

Digital Marketing Assistant

Currently studying Digital Marketing BSc (Hons) at London South Bank University, Liam supports the Marketing & Communications Manager by contributing to B2B and B2C digital marketing initiatives for Croydon BID. He assists with content creation for social media, the website, and monthly e-bulletins.

Jayde Gayle-Walters

Jayde delivers operational services and initiatives to meet the needs of Croydon’s business community. She collaborates with partners and stakeholders to enhance town centre safety and revitalisation, managing projects like the Business Crime Reduction Partnership, Radio Link. and Street Rangers.
