Spreading Christmas Cheer with Random Acts of Kindness

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year but, given the current significant impact of the UK economy for both households and businesses, this Christmas will be a difficult time for many.
To help keep spirits bright in Croydon this festive season, Croydon Business Improvement District (BID) will work with local businesses to host an activity which gives back to the local community.

We will be spreading Christmas cheer every weekend from 26th November to 24th December with random acts of kindness.

Christmas is all about people. For me, it is about being kind and caring, sharing some joy and looking after one another, especially as we face the challenge of rising living costs. To spread some cheer this Christmas, we have teamed up with several of our businesses to offer a variety of free offers to lift spirits and bring a smile or two to people’s faces as we approach Christmas. Every weekend until Christmas Eve, you could be one of the lucky ones!

This project coincides with our £1 parking promotion, which is also intended to benefit the local community.

Every Sunday from 27th November 2022 in the run-up to Christmas, consumers will be able to park in Centrale Shopping Centre’s multi-storey car park for £1.
