This collaborative effort helps to address issues such as shoplifting, anti-social behaviour, and other security concerns, fostering a safer, more connected business community.
The Croydon BID Radio Link scheme brings all the key stakeholders within the town centre together, allowing us to share valuable intelligence to drive down anti-social behaviour, shoplifting, and other crimes. The training and ongoing support by the Croydon BID team and their Street Rangers provides users with the confidence and skill set to be an integral part of the scheme’s success, helping to cultivate a positive one-team ethos. Security and safety are paramount to our tenants and visitors, and the Croydon BID Radio Link is integral to delivering these goals.

The scheme continues to expand its network, with the recent additions of BOXPARK, William Hill, Specsavers, and Iceland. These businesses, along with many others, are benefiting from the increased sense of safety, timely real-time incident updates, and strengthened collaboration with local authorities.
At BOXPARK Croydon, the safety and security of our customers, staff, and the local community are top priorities. Joining the Croydon BID Radio Link scheme allows us to stay connected with other businesses and local authorities in real time, ensuring a more proactive approach to managing security concerns. We’re excited about the collaboration and the immediate access to intelligence that will help us prevent issues before they escalate, ultimately contributing to a safer environment for everyone.
Melissa Edgerton, BOXPARK Croydon General Manager
