This is reflected in high attendance rates and good standards of behaviour from the students.
The College was praised for the quality of teaching in many subjects such as health and social care, A levels and GCSE maths. It was also noted that the curriculum at the college has been developed with the local labour market in mind, ensuring key industries like construction have a pipeline of employable people with the right skills in the local area.
At Coulsdon Sixth Form College, which is part of The Croydon College Group, managers introduced physiological disorders to the curriculum following specific requests from employers in health and social care, demonstrating how the College is listening and responding to stakeholder needs.
The inspection report noted that there were 200 learners with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) at the College who are provided with a range of support including specialist therapeutic staff, speech and language, vision support and occupational therapy. Those with high needs have good attendance and a positive attitude towards learning.

The Ofsted inspection found the College to be ‘Good’ across all the areas of education they provide including Education programmes for young people, Apprenticeships, Adult provision and Provision for Students with High Needs.
