Consultation are being held, providing an opportunity for the public to learn more about the proposals and share their views directly with the project team.
Attendees are invited to input into plans for the redevelopment of the Whitgift Centre, which is set to deliver high-quality homes, a new network of green public spaces, and a revitalised mix of retail and leisure uses, all supported by improved connectivity across the site.
Feedback is also being gathered on refurbishment proposals for Centrale, which aim to modernise the shopping experience, improve layout, and reposition the centre as a more contemporary retail and social destination that attracts major brands and enhances the visitor experience.
As part of URW’s wider plans, the Allders building is due to reopen this autumn with new shops and food outlets. The consultation also explores long-term ambitions for the building’s use as a space for leisure, culture, and education, while retaining its historic frontage.
