Waterstones Croydon to inspire 3000 local pupils for World Book Day

For two weeks, starting from Monday 4th March 2025, over 100 classes from 23 primary schools in Croydon will visit their local Waterstones in the Whitgift Centre to celebrate World Book Day.
Pupils will have the opportunity to spend their World Book Day voucher on a book and be treated to a story read to them by a local author.

Through these events, Waterstones Croydon and the authors aim to encourage reading and inspire future storytellers.
