A Very Croydon Christmas returns with a fun-filled festive weekend of music, outdoor arts, craft workshops and family activities across Croydon Town Centre.
The weekend combines traditional elements such as carol concerts and mulled wine at the Braithwaite Hall with contemporary and unconventional highlights, including the interactive Dutch installation DJ Frietmachine, where audiences create their own fries through a DJ-powered system, and the playful spectacle of Miss Murphy’s Pantomime Ponies.
The programme also features roaming street theatre from Matt Pang’s Curiosity Christmas Tree, Sonia Sabri Company’s vibrant outdoor performance Mughal Miniatures: The Elephant & The Drummer and family craft sessions including rosette-making with Sam Nowell and Romani lucky horseshoes with Deborah Birch, and live performances from local artists.
