Black History Month Stage Show

As part of Black History Month, The Windrush Legacy Association (WGLA) charity will be producing a community stage show in Whitgift Square.
The event will embody the national theme “Standing Form in Power and Pride”, through spoken word, live music, comedy and community performances. The stage show will amplify the creativity, resilience and cultural expression of the Black community, while inviting the whole of Croydon to participate.
This show is not just about performance, but about community and coming together in unity; those who are not of colour are welcomed as allies, taking part in a way that celebrates and uplifts Black heritage and voices.
