Croydon Stands Tall
Croydon Town Centre,30 giant giraffe sculptures and 30 baby giraffe sculptures have appeared across Croydon town centre, waiting to be discovered by you!
Welcome to Croydon Stands Tall – a fun and free 10-week art trail from 21st August to 27th October 2023.
30 large giraffe sculpture have been beautifully decorated by an artist and sponsored by a local business. 29 of our baby giraffe sculptures have been created by schools and community groups from across the borough.
Also on the trail is our Lionesses tribute baby giraffe, marking the first women’s English team to reach a World Cup Final since 1966. Find ‘Sweet Caroline’ in BOXPARK Croydon.

Following a farewell weekend in which they will be displayed together, the giant giraffe sculptures will be auctioned off at a special event to raise funds that will support our charity partner, Crisis Skylight Croydon.
