Join Turf Projects to make Ground News – a slow, messy, collaged local newspaper, sharing stories by children and families, inspired by the ecologies we find ourselves intertwined within.
Each workshop will have activity stations to make collective “news reports”, guided by invitations inspired by heathland plants like Heather and Broom that grow freely in the Wilderness. We will be exploring, observing and playing with processes like monoprinting, DIY photograms using natural developers, writing and photographs. Everything generated during these workshops will be collaged and shared with participants, families, neighbours and the wider public through the form of a kind of newspaper at a later date.
