Croydon BID continues its commitment to brighten the streets and create a great impression of Croydon with its winter lights’ scheme. This scheme consists of thousands of energy-efficient LED lights across 10 streets in the town centre, including Lansdowne Road, Surrey Street, George Street East, George Street West, High Street, Church Street, Crown Hill and North End.

In addition to the street lighting, a range of festive installations are placed throughout the town centre, adding extra sparkle and charm to the seasonal display. The lights remain in place for seven weeks, providing over 6,000 hours of additional illumination to kick-start the festive season and enhance the town centre experience.

Working alongside property owners and local retailers, Croydon BID has also supported further lighting and festive elements across the town centre, ensuring a cohesive and vibrant seasonal look for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.
