About Croydon BID Winter Lights:
Croydon BID continues its commitment to brighten the streets and create a great impression of Croydon with its winter lights’ scheme. This scheme consists of thousands of LED (environmentally conscious) lights across 8 streets in the town centre: Lansdowne Road, Surrey Street, George Street East, George Street West, High Street, Church Street, Crown Hill and North End.
Our Christmas lights are installed and in place for seven weeks, kick-starting the festive season for the town centre, delivering over 6,000 hours of additional lighting with a little twinkle here and there!
Working with other property owners and retailers, we have provided further lighting to improve the overall look and feel of our town centre.

Vibrancy
Adding light and sparkle, softening the streetscape and creating a welcoming space for both residents and visitors

Giving the town centre a festive feel over the winter months has the power to drive more visitors to town centre, thus giving businesses a much needed boost
