Meet the Chair of Croydon BID

Croydon Business Improvement District (BID) is pleased to welcome Dana Grey, Chief Risk, Governance and Legal Officer of the Pension Protection Fund (PPF), as the new Chair of the Board of Directors.

Dana brings a wealth of experience to the position, having held senior roles in governance, risk management, and diversity since joining the PPF in 2009. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction.

Matthew leads Croydon BID in partnership with the Board of Directors, setting the organisation’s strategic vision and ensuring it delivers maximum value to levy payers, partners, and stakeholders. He represents, lobbies, and advocates for the business community to drive long-term change and improvements that support Croydon’s economic growth. With a clear focus on delivering positive, measurable outcomes, Matthew champions initiatives that enhance the vibrancy, safety, and growth of Croydon town centre.

Shaun Webster

Shaun oversees key operational aspects of Croydon BID’s delivery plan, with a focus on managing the organisation’s safety and cleansing portfolio. This includes street and business cleansing operations, the Croydon BID Street Rangers, the Croydon BID Radio Link scheme, and police-funded operations. He also leads on the operational delivery of the BID’s events programme. Shaun’s work plays a key role in enhancing the safety, security, and overall appearance of the town centre.

Keely Dench

Keely leads business engagement for Croydon BID, fostering strong, valuable relationships with levy payers. She develops projects and initiatives to keep businesses informed and involved in the ongoing developments within Croydon town centre. Keely also leads on the BID’s greening portfolio, delivering planting schemes and initiatives that add colour, vibrancy, and improve the overall look and feel of the town centre.

Kayleigh Paget

Kayleigh leads the marketing and communications strategy for Croydon BID, supporting all projects and services across both B2B and B2C channels. She promotes the business community through positive place marketing that showcases the vibrant and diverse offerings of Croydon town centre. She also oversees the BID’s festivals and events portfolio, delivering engaging experiences that celebrate local talent and creativity while bringing energy and life to the town centre.

Sinead Johnston

Business Operations Executive

Sinead manages daily office operations and provides essential administrative support across the Croydon BID team. As the first point of contact for enquiries, she assists residents, workers, and visitors with professionalism and efficiency. Sinead also supports the Chief Executive with financial administration and plays a key role in supporting operational functions, including the cleansing and Radio Link portfolios, helping to ensure smooth delivery and coordination across these areas.

Currently studying for a BSc (Hons) in Digital Marketing at London South Bank University, Liam supports the Marketing & Communications Manager in delivering B2C digital campaigns for Croydon BID. He is responsible for content creation across social media, the website, and monthly e-bulletins, helping to engage key audiences and support the local business community.
