The Croydon BID Street Ranger team provides over 160 hours per week of additional uniformed patrolling, offering increased visibility and reassurance to ensure Croydon town centre is a safer and more welcoming place for residents, employees, and visitors.

The Croydon BID Street Ranger team is always ready to assist businesses, their staff, and customers, thanks to the Croydon BID Radio Link, which enhances communication and response times.
The team plays a key role in ensuring Croydon town centre remains a welcoming and safe place for everyone, including residents, employees, and visitors. In addition to offering a visible presence, the Rangers support businesses with:
- Recovering stolen goods
- Managing anti-social behaviour
- Addressing other on-street issues

Attending to issues relating to anti-social behaviour, general nuisance, shop-lifting and other challenges for businesses

Working closely with Croydon's Metropolitan Police, which means appropriate action can be taken against offenders
